Limitation of Elzanor

Elzanor is not recommended for patients with type 1 diabetes or for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis

Before taking this medicine

You should not use empagliflozin if you are allergic to it, or if you have:

  • severe kidney disease (or if you are on dialysis).

  • A bladder infection or urination problems
